OTP Copenhagen is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2021 by Oscar Gilbert, a British art dealer who relocated to Denmark having previosuly worked at commercial galleries and non-profit institutions.
Since its inception, the gallery has focused on showcasing challenging and unfamiliar practices within Copenhagen’s art scene. Whilst the gallery exhibits a range of artistic media including painting, drawing, sculpture and installation, OTP has become best known for exhibitions that engage with ideas of autobiography, the grotesque, normativity, or new approaches to religion and spirituality.
The gallery’s first permanent exhibition space was located at Haraldsgade 16B. Since June of 2022, the gallery has been located at Rantzausgade 9 in Copenhagen’s Nørrebro neighbourhood. In September of 2024, the gallery expanded to a second location at Vester Farimagsagde 6 in Copenhagen’s iconic BUEN building.
